Our education and outreach extends across the greater New York City Metropolitan Area. Events in our community include providing education, inspiring registrations, sharing stories about those touched by donation and more. Together, our volunteers unite to raise awareness about the power of organ donation. Take a look at some of the events around the area. 5K For Life Run/Walk: Suffolk County

Join the 5K for Life Run/Walk in East Islip, NY taking place on Saturday, October 18th. The event will honor donor heroes and support organ donation. Race proceeds will benefit LiveOnNY Foundation.

Give Live NY: Nassau County 5K
Oct. 19, 2025
The 2nd Annual Give Life NY 5K Run/Walk in East Meadow, NY is taking place on Sunday, October 19th. The event is being held to raise awareness for organ donation. The Co-directors of the event, Mindy Davidson and Bob Goldfarb are runners and non-directed living donors, and the race committee is made up of organ donors and organ recipients.

On November 2, Team LiveOnNY will join more than 50,000 athletes on the course at the NYC Marathon, each racing to support organ and tissue donation and raise awareness for our mission.
